It's NOT writing eBooks. Or selling affiliate products. Or even creating a high dollar coaching program around something you love.

To look at every ounce of effort you expend on your online business as an asset, and to ALWAYS begin with the end in mind when you build something new.
For example, why build a generic weight loss blog to sell affiliate products, when you can instead... build a hyper local weight loss blog or website with the idea of selling it to an existing nutrition or health professional in your local community?
Do you know how many health and wellness coaches there are in every city, small town or province around the world?
Far more than any of us can count.
Do you know how many of those professionals NEED a powerful presence on the web to market their business?
All of them (and most don't have a clue how to do it for themselves).
Of course the very SAME thing applies to every dentist, doctor, tailor, trainer, teacher and every other type of passion professional there is.
If you focus on building online assets with the "end in mind" from jump - that you are creating content and communities have will have to someone in your local community, you set yourself up to succeed right out of the gate.
As a matter of fact... if you follow these 3 rules, you almost CAN'T "not" succeed.
Pick HIGH dollar, evergreen industries.
Pick high value, hyper local domain names.
Create GOOD, unique content and install a blog on every community you create (I use the term "community" to describe a bit of a more robust social style site, but if you are just getting started, all you need to do to start is build a blog that has community value to a local professional, and that's a good place to begin).
I really believe that this is the BEST and most under-served business opportunity in the world, and it's only going to get more competitive the longer you wait.
Remember, you can almost GIVE a website away.....with a domain name and content and STILL earn $1000 per transaction at a minimum... if you know how to incorporate value add services to your sites.
Hosting, autoresponders, SEO services, content creation and coaching....you name it, you can charge a few hundred dollars a month for MOST markets, and get it with ease!
The truth is, even if you've never make an affiliate sale in your life, if you can build a blog, write some good content and set someone in the real world up for success in a strategic and smart way... you CAN build a viable and valuable online business doing work that you love! (and the above is all you need to begin)
